Jeanette's Legacy Creating Hope Touching Lives Healing Hearts Easing Pain Increasing Joy Helping Others Thank You for creating such a special time for me on May 8. I don’t think that I had painted since Mom was hospitalized on March 28. I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed learning how to paint with watercolors and how to do the techniques for the bookmarks. I had never used watercolors before. I have mainly worked in acrylics and mixed media. Now, I am really looking forward to getting the watercolors. You inspired me. Jeanette’s story inspired me. I pray that I can be of some help to you both and in spreading Jeanette’s legacy in some small way. What you are doing for the patients and their loved ones is a God send. I know that you are proud of what Jeanette did with the challenges she faced. I know that Jeanette is proud of your both for continuing her dream of creating hope and helping others as they face their own challenges. What you are doing touches people in so many ways and on so many different levels. The people who I have told about Jeanette, the two of you and my experiences with “Creating Hope” were touched just by hearing about everything. I have been trying to think of ways to help with raising money, raising awareness, and helping in some manner. I will “brainstorm” these ideas and then discuss them with you as they emerge. Thanks again for creating such a special time for me that day at I.U. I can’t begin to tell you how much I enjoyed it and how much it meant to me.
